About EasyFedWorkComp

Empowering Federal Workers Through Knowledge

Why This Site Exists

EasyFedWorkComp was built by a former federal employee with direct experience in workers' compensation under FECA for over 20 years. After years of watching injured federal workers struggle to understand a system that's rarely explained in plain language, this site was created to change that.

The tools here reflect real-world knowledge of how OWCP works — not textbook summaries. Every calculator, checklist, and guide was built with the actual claim process in mind, from first report of injury through schedule awards, denials, and appeals.

Our Mission

To give every injured federal employee access to the kind of clear, practical information that used to require knowing the right person. The FECA process is complex by design — your access to good guidance shouldn't depend on luck.

Free Tools & Calculators

Schedule awards, leave buyback, overpayment estimates, denial analysis, and more — built to match how OWCP actually calculates things.

Plain-Language Guidance

No legal jargon, no upsell. Just clear explanations of what OWCP status codes mean, what your options are, and what to do next.

Federal Claims Chronicle

Our free newsletter covers FECA updates, claim tips, and policy changes. Subscribe to stay informed as the rules evolve.

Continuously Updated

New tools are added regularly based on what claimants actually need. If something's missing, reach out — it may become the next tool.
